at a time.
We build handcrafted violins, violas, and cellos in Brooklyn, working in the Cremonese tradition. Each instrument begins as timber that has rested in the workshop for years, and ends as something with a voice entirely its own.
There is no production line. No shortcuts. Every stage of the work — from the first tap-tone test on a raw spruce plate to the final adjustment of soundpost and bass bar — is carried out by a single pair of hands.
